Albuquerque 53rd Hot Air Balloon Fiesta

Definately a bucket list item for me

ABQ delivered a wonderful experience for us this month. Hope you enjoy some pics. Many of these are available as prints if you see one you want for your wall decor. Scroll down for several pages.

It started with a Drone Show

The theme for the 53rd annual fiesta.

Then they followed with a glow after the singing of the SSB, and the Dawn Patrol, an initial flight of13 balloons and finally a flyover.

A burn right after singing the National Anthem. We all cheered.

The crews all got there early to set up 520 balloons, all in lines across the field

You have to lay out the balloon in a straight line. Each balloon has a crew of several adults to make it happen.
